Only 24-year-old Jiří Junek, who, among other things, raped one of his girlfriends, tried to burn another and brutally abused pets, received an exceptional 21-year sentence from the Municipal Court in Prague on Friday. Junek confessed to most of the crimes, denying only attempted murder. By setting his girlfriend on fire, he wanted to force her to confess to her alleged infidelity. He said he did not want to kill her. The verdict is not final.
