The Court of Appeal of Cahul reduced, by four years, the punishment applied to the former President of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia, Dmitri Constantinov. The Court of Appeal sentenced him Monday to eight years in prison after the court of appeal, the Comrat Court, had pronounced a 12-year prison sentence at the end of last year.
The Court of Appeal of Cahul reduced by four years the punishment imposed on the name of the former president of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia (APG), Dmitri Constantinov. The court sentenced him on Monday, August 17, to eight years in prison in a closed prison, partially modifying the sentence handed down by the Comrat Court at the end of last year.
