Measures suspend tariffs on around 80% of Armenia exports to EU for 2 years
The favourable regime will be in effect for two years and will cover about 80 per cent of Armenia ' s exports to the EU.

With final approval from the member states, the decision to lift EU import tariffs on a vast majority of Armenian products became official on Thursday. Earlier this month, the European Parliament also voted in favor of lifting the tariffs.
On Thursday, the EU Council approved a preferential trade regime for Armenia: about 80 per cent of exports will be liberalized through the suspension of duties for a wide range of goods. "The proposal for EU regulation on the application of autonomous trade measures to Armenian goods received the final approval of the EU Competitiveness Council", reported to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia.
On Thursday, the European Union (EU) lifted tariffs on most of Armenia's exports to help the country cope with Russia's trade restrictions as Yerevan moves closer to Brussels and away from Moscow.
