The construction of nuclear power units in Dukovany will significantly increase the demands on the State Office for Nuclear Safety (SÚJB), which is to permit the construction. The regulator is already preparing for the deal of the century. Dukovany is KHNP's first project in Europe, so the Czech regulator will have to familiarize itself with its technology.
