Justice Allowed a Woman's Fight for Her Daughter to Fade Away. It Took the Constitutional Court to Intervene

A mother has been stuck in a deadlock after not seeing her daughter for months. Although she has custody of her, the father has been taking care of the child since May of last year because the mother was hospitalized and then underwent a treatment. The man then refused to return the daughter to the mother, and although according to a final judgment he has custody of the daughter, she has not actually seen her since January 2026.
The Constitutional Court has sided with the mother, who is supposed to take care of her daughter according to an older decision. However, the girl is in fact living with her father, who refused to hand her over last year. The mother wants the court to order the enforcement of the still valid decision and for the girl to return to her.
