The Barcelona Hearing revokes the case filed by an investigating judge on the grounds that the officers "were not on duty".
Following the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office , the Barcelona Court has ordered the re-opening of investigations against three Mossos d’Esquadra agents for their alleged collaboration in the reappearance and escape of Carles Puigdemont on August 8, 2024, in the Catalan capital. Section 7a thus revokes the provisional dismissal agreed by the investigator, which ruled out any criminal action by the officials.
The court leaves the three officers a step away from trial, after admitting an appeal from the prosecution and the people's prosecution.
