- On Wednesday, the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art at Florida Southern College named Laura V. Putnam as its new Curator of Exhibitions.
- Putnam, who has served the museum since 2013, stepped into an expanded role following the departure of former Executive Director and Chief Curator Alex Rich.
- Holding a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Boston University, Putnam has curated notable exhibitions including The Medici Dynasty: Renaissance in Florence and Darkroom Alchemy.
