The extensive annual maintenance of the Loviisa nuclear power plant will begin in August 2026. In connection with this, significant projects will be launched to ensure that the plant can be in operation until the end of 2050. The total investment is estimated to be one billion euros. In addition, during the maintenance, the transition from Russian nuclear fuel to Western alternatives will be promoted.
