PSOE, Adelante and Por Andalucía lay down two right-wing initiatives on “the invasion of Ceuta”
The opposition has prevented Ceuta's situation from reaching the next plenary session of the Andalusian Chamber, toppling the proposals put forward by the PP and Vox, and receiving the most acidic reproach from the popular spokesman.
In the Parliament of Andalusia there will be no debate about Ceuta. PSOE-A, Adelante Andalucía and Por Andalucía have partially laid down a proposal for a Vox debate on the arrival of migrants in the autonomous city from Morocco and another one in total form of the PP. To be able to incorporate them into the plenary they needed the support of three groups or two thirds of the House and the left has refused.
The crisis in Ceuta continues to be the main dish of mornings, televisions, newspaper covers and even topic of conversation at work. It is not for less. Not only because of the number of people who crossed the border to the autonomous city, around 80,000, but because they continue, at least, about 10,000 human beings in Ceuta since last 31 July.
