This Saturday, Alavesa society will show in a demonstration its rejection of the EU-Mercosur agreement. Araba Bizirik, Ataca, Bionekazaritza and UAGA organisations have called for a demonstration on 21 February to show the rejection of the EU-Mercosur agreement by the alaves society, as they warn that "health, food sovereignty and the lives of the peoples are in danger".
The European Union's trade agreement with Mercosur has been met with opposition. In fact, it has provoked a fierce response from the primary sector in many countries, and Europeans have seen a series of protests against the agreement in recent months.
