The number of patients in the abuse clinic in Sogn og Fjordane increased by over 40 percent in 2024, compared to the previous year. Most cases involved sexual abuse.

After several years of a decline in the number of reported cases, Nordland Police District is now experiencing an increase - especially within abuse in close relationships.
