The Language Association celebrated the 94th anniversary of the Language Revolution with an event titled "A Tribute to Aziz Nesin." Sevgi Özel, President of the Language Association, stated, "Respect for the official language is respect for all languages. Speaking disrespectfully about the official language is disrespecting all languages. Scientists should now be the ones speaking on language issues. Politicians shouldn't be talking so much."
MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said, "Turkish, which has reached us today carrying the thoughts, memories, and experiences of hundreds of generations, is one of the strongest bridges we have built between the past and the future."
On the 94th anniversary of the First Turkish Language Congress, the legacy of the Turkish language, which has been refined through 14 different alphabets, is being discussed.
