The day after the publication of bad growth figures, the Minister of Economy and Finance Roland Lescure presented this morning the government's macroeconomic forecasts. Growth revised downwards, public deficit derailed, future fiscal efforts: the government sends a clear warning to the French.
The Minister of Economy presented France's new economic outlook, a few weeks from the presentation of the 2027 budget. A "transparency" operation also aimed at reminding parliamentarians of the constraints the government will have to face in order to reduce the deficit.
