The 2026 'I Voted' sticker winners have been announced; see the 9 winners, including 6 from metro Detroit
The contest drew 2,095 submissions and more than 53,000 votes, with three winners chosen in each age category.
On Tuesday, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced nine winners of the 2026 'I Voted' sticker contest, with designs available to voters during the November General Election.
This second annual competition saw a surge in engagement with 2,095 designs submitted—four times the 2024 amount—and over 53,000 votes cast by the public.
Members of the Michigan Collegiate Student Advisory Task Force sorted through thousands of entries, narrowing the field to 30 semifinalists in each category before the public voted.
Winning entries selected from three age categories feature playful and culturally significant themes, including a tired cat, a bunny astronaut, the Edmund Fitzgerald, and the Mackinac Bridge.
Local election clerks may now order these designs to provide to voters on Election Day, furthering the state's goal of encouraging residents of all ages to participate in the democratic process.
