A ceremony was held in İzmir's Cumhuriyet Square on September 19th to commemorate Veterans' Day. Governor Süleyman Elban and members of the protocol laid a wreath at the Atatürk Monument; Association President Orhan Aydın gave a speech, and numerous veterans, students, and guests attended the program.
