The 15th Global Natural History Day 2026 Global Finals Conclude Successfully in Yichang and Shanghai

The 15th Global Natural History Day finals successfully concluded at Shanghai University in August 2026, featuring an innovative dual-city model between Shanghai and Yichang.
This year's competition brought together 803 participating teams and 1,546 teachers and students from 17 provinces and municipalities across China, demonstrating significant growth since the event's 2012 launch.
Participants engaged with the 2026 theme, "Past, Present, Future – Exploring the Origins and Development of Innovation," which guided students to summarize development patterns and uncover innovation's underlying logic.
Organizers introduced the "Science Box" to provide standardized support for youth science practice activities in schools and communities, while an online achievement display platform will launch soon.
Behring Global Educational Foundation President Stephen Beinke reviewed the 15-year development of GNHD and emphasized plans to leverage existing mentor resources to expand coverage and benefit more regions.
