‘The 1% Club’ & ‘The Quiz With Balls’ to be Taken Off Air For Weeks
Fox will pause the game shows for several weeks as World Cup coverage begins, with new episodes set to return July 13.
Fox will take The 1% Club and The Quiz With Balls off the air for several weeks to broadcast FIFA World Cup coverage in Mexico, Canada, and the USA.
Both shows will air new episodes on Monday, June 8, then take a break until July 13, according to a representative, as the World Cup runs from June 11 through July 19.
Hosted by Joel McHale, The 1% Club tests contestants' knowledge with questions Americans were polled on, with whoever reaches the final question winning up to $100,000.
The Quiz With Balls, hosted by Jay Pharoah, requires contestants to answer questions by standing in front of correct choices, with winners advancing to a bonus round for up to $100,000.
MasterChef resumes July 15 and Beat Shazam returns for Season 8 on July 28, while the new show Nation's Dumbest premieres July 15 channeling celebrities' "inner school spirit.
