Texas Rangers Select High School Pitcher in MLB Draft

Major League Baseball is holding its amateur draft this weekend.  In the first round, with the 16th overall pick, the Texas Rangers selected Gio Rojas, a left-handed high school pitcher from Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.  Rojas is 19-years old, 6′ 4″ tall, and weighs 195-lbs.  He throws a fastball up to 98-mph, along with a slider and a change-up pitch.  Rojas is currently committed to play college baseball at the University of Miami.…
