- Despite wearing masks, police identified the men after their van broke down on London Road; ANPR technology traced a second vehicle to Birmingham, where officers recovered stolen property and evidence from multiple burglaries.
- Shane Johnson received 45 months and four weeks imprisonment, while his brother Keith was sentenced to 29 months for their roles in the Warrington burglary and a separate crime in Rugby.
- Shop owner Chris Grundy described the loss as significant for his business, which he had "built from the ground up." DC Hannah Smith said the brothers must "pay the price for their part in their criminal Pokémon enterprise.

Two brothers have been jailed after stealing more than £60,000 worth of stock from a Pokémon card shop in Warrington.
Four masked individuals broke into a store selling collectible cards in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France, and stole hundreds of items, mostly Pokémon cards. The total value of the stolen cards is estimated to be around 80,000 euros.
They have been particularly popular in recent years among collectors, with some of them selling for outrageously high prices.
