Texas DPS creates Homeland Security Division
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced the creation of the new Homeland Security Division following the passage of Senate Bill 36 by the 89th Texas Legislature. The new Homeland Security Division will be formed by merging DPS’ current Office of Homeland Security and the Intelligence and Counterterrorism Division (ICT).
