(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Hong Kyu-bin = U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has ranked first in sales in the imported car market for six consecutive months.
Tesla Korea sold 10,237 vehicles in the domestic market last month, surpassing the 10,000-unit sales mark for the fifth consecutive month. Its flagship model, the Model Y, sold 8,705 units, overtaking Hyundai’s Grandeur to rank first in overall passenger car sales. Tesla is expanding its dominance in the market, holding a 33.1% share of the total imported car market.
