- Justice Emeka Nwite ordered the defendants remanded at the Nigerian Correctional Service custodial facility, Kuje, FCT, pending a hearing on January 5, while Gordy Uche applied for bail.
- Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed said he was shocked to be linked to terrorism and angered by his commissioner's ordeal, accusing the federal government of using the EFCC to harass opposition and warning, `If they don't stop, we are going to declare war`.
