Teplice had their representative at the football World Cup in America. Jan Rezek, assistant coach of Zdeněk Frťala, also held this position with the national team alongside coach Miroslav Koubek. From overseas, in addition to valuable experience, he also brought to his future coaching career knowledge about new rules, some of which will apply from the new season onwards in the Czech league.
