A generally binding decree banning the consumption of alcohol in selected places has been in effect in Teplice for fourteen months. It has given police officers the authority to deal with problematic behavior in public, especially in the city center and in exposed locations. Because the decree has proven successful, according to the management of the municipality and the city police, it is now also valid in other places.
