It was learned on the 17th through interviews with related parties that Tokyo Electric Power Company is making arrangements to restart Unit 6 of the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant on January 20th of next year. Once local consent procedures are completed, the company is expected to submit an application to the Nuclear Regulation Authority as early as the 24th of this month.
