People across Germany have taken to the streets in about 20 cities against right-wing extremism. The demonstrations follow the election victory of the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt.

"The elections in Saxony-Anhalt have to be a turning point, if we want to stop the AfD," said the call, launched by about 100 organizations, citizen initiatives and trade unions.
After the AfD success in Saxony-Anhalt, around 12,000 people demonstrated in Munich for a review of right-wing extremist parties by the Federal Constitutional Court. However, there were also other demos.
