Ten Detained for Supporting Drug Trafficking by Sea in the Algarve

Of the 10 detainees, eight of foreign nationality aged between 19 and 30 years were located in Tavira, while the remaining two, Portuguese, aged 43 and 46, were detained in Fuseta, Olhão County.

Operation against drug trafficking mobilized land, sea and air assets and ended with 10 arrests and the seizure of two vessels and one car.

High-speed vessels were detected by the coastal surveillance system and led to an operation by land, sea and air. Ten men were detained in Tavira and Fuzeta and the GNR seized two boats and a car.
