Police said the 16-year-old’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Police Scotland identified 16-year-old Charlie Noble as the teenager who died after getting into difficulty at Bracklinn Falls near Callander on Thursday, May 28. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services responded to a report of concern around 6.45pm on Thursday, and the teenager's body was recovered from the water later that evening. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Tributes poured in across social media for the "lovely boy," with his father, Tam Noble, updating his profile picture in memory of Charlie. Friends and family shared condolences online.
Noble's death marks the 12th water-related fatality across the UK during the recent heatwave, with deaths reported in regions including South Yorkshire and Lancashire.
