Teenage boy on e-bike dies in hit-and-run in Co Clare
Gardaí are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage as investigators examine the scene and a post-mortem is arranged after the boy’s death.
- Shortly after 11pm on Friday, a teenage boy died following a hit-and-run incident on the L3050 at Cottage Cross near Clonlara, on the Clare-Limerick border.
- A second vehicle involved in the collision failed to remain at the scene, prompting Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to seal the area for examination.
