Jordan Anthony Harris, 19, and Hamenyimana Jeilo, 19, were arrested after their vehicles crashed on Highway 350 near West 6th Street in La Junta early Aug. 23, 2026, with the wreck having one passenger appearing to undergo a “death rattle,” as first responders described, and sending five young adults/teens to the hospital, according to newly acquired records.
