He believes we are dealing with a growing bubble and a disconnect from the commercial realities of the market. However, he assured that even if the bubble bursts, Big Tech, including Google, is prepared.
The investment frenzy in certain parts of the AI technology sector has the hallmarks of a bubble, Google researcher Demis Hassabis told the Financial Times. The head of Google's artificial intelligence research unit, DeepMind, expects his own employer to be largely unaffected.
