A protest campaign entitled "Policies to the board! Keep your word!" was organized by the Union of Polish Teachers (ZNP) and attended by several thousand people, and the main requirement of the protesters was to link the basic salary rates of teachers to the average salary level of the national economy.
A large group of teachers will protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office on Monday 31 August. Teachers centred around the Polish Teachers' Union will mainly demand higher salaries, but the Kompas Jutra reform and other ideas of the Ministry of Education will also get in.
