TDOT cuts ribbon, Broad Street Bridge open in time for Independence Day
Nine months after Hurricane Helene severely damaged the Broad Street Bridge, it was opened to traffic on Wednesday afternoon. The bridge immediately relieved much of the heavy traffic that had been detoured through downtown Elizabethton since September.
