Taylor Swift Leads Nominations for 2026 American Music Awards
Taylor Swift leads with 8 nods, while Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Dean follow with 7 each as women top the 2026 American Music Awards ballot.

- Women dominate this year's nominations, as Sabrina Carpenter and Brit Award winner Olivia Dean both follow Swift with seven nods each. Country star Morgan Wallen and New York-born singer Sombr also secured seven nominations.
- British acts PinkPantheress and former One Direction star Harry Styles received three nominations each. The singing voices of Huntr, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami earned three nods for their song "Golden."
- The 52nd annual awards ceremony takes place on Monday, May 25, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by rapper Queen Latifah. Winners will be announced across all categories.
- Wallen and Carpenter will face off against Swift for artist of the year, while Carpenter also competes for album of the year with her record Man's Best Friend.
