It is no April Fool's joke that fuel taxes were reduced from today, April 1. Fjordenes Tidende has checked the effects on pump prices in Måløy.
Politicians have decided to spend billions of kroner to lower fuel prices, but on April 1st they are still high.
At midnight, fuel prices were supposed to drop after the government cut taxes. But pump prices quickly went back up.
The average price of diesel is higher on Wednesday morning than the day before, despite the fact that taxes have been reduced.
