India's largest business conglomerate Tata Sons has been given a three-month deadline to hold its annual general meeting. For the first time in the history of the Tata Group, the annual general meeting scheduled for August 18 was cancelled due to insufficient attendance of members.
Tata Sons has received an additional three months from the ROC to hold its AGM. The August 18th AGM was postponed due to a lack of the required quorum. Tata Trusts has requested permission to attend the AGM.
