Autoroute A69: Battle of Arguments in Front of the Administrative Court of Toulouse

The public rapporteur was in favour of a resumption of the project, saying that it was "not common for justice to rule on the fate of a work already completed at 80%".

On Wednesday, Toulouse held a hearing on the stay of execution requested by the State and the concessionaires to re-launch the highway construction project, which was arrested by the administrative court in February. Deliberation will be given on 28 May.

The public rapporteur, whose opinion is often followed by the administrative courts, confirmed on Wednesday that he was in favour of a resumption of the project, justified "by nature" because of the importance of the connected cities, a position rejected by the opponents. The court's decision will be delivered by 28 May.

The National Assembly's Committee on Sustainable Development and Land Use Planning approved, on Wednesday, 21 May, the draft law which validates the environmental authorizations of the A69 site. The text will be discussed on 2 June.
