Target and other retailers just pulled these snack mixes over salmonella risk
Target has already pulled one trail mix from shelves, and no illnesses have been reported as the company recalls products out of caution.
- Illinois-Based manufacturer Sanfilippo is recalling several snack mixes sold under the Fisher, Southern Style Nuts, Squirrel Brand, and Good & Gather brands due to possible Salmonella contamination; affected products are available at Target, online retailers, and QVC.
- California Dairies previously recalled a dry milk powder seasoning ingredient used in these products; although the FDA says batches tested negative for Salmonella, Sanfilippo is recalling them out of caution.
