More than 21 billion forints in Tao subsidies were claimed back from sports organizations based on settlements between 2022 and 2026. NAV has already collected nearly two billion forints, but the enforcement was unsuccessful in the case of more than seven billion forints.

The procedure, during which the use of TAO subsidies was examined, affects more than five hundred sports organizations.

The State Secretariat for Sport demands HUF 21 billion in unauthorised aid - So far, NAV has successfully recovered a meagre HUF 2 billion.
