India's January Russian oil imports may fall sharply as Reliance expects no deliveries
Reliance Industries halted Russian crude imports at its Jamnagar refinery since Nov 20, 2025, aligning with US sanctions and Indian government guidelines, the company said.

- After the US blacklist of Russian firms, Reliance initially stepped back and in November said it would stop using Russian crude in its export-focused unit, having been the biggest Indian importer via Rosneft PJSC supplying half a million barrels daily.
- Bloomberg's tanker-tracking showed three tankers heading to Reliance's Jamnagar refinery last week, carrying 2.2 million barrels from sellers not on the US sanctions blacklist.
