Taliban Delegation Travels to Germany to Facilitate Deportations of Afghans – KabulNow

Summary
It has been practically a secret mission so far – completely unnoticed by the German public. According to NDR (North German Broadcasting) information, the three Taliban members arrived in Germany on Wednesday. After leaving Kabul, they had previously stopped in Qatar. At the German embassy there, they were issued visas for Germany, valid for 30 days. The group is currently staying at the Afghan embassy in the Grunewald district of Berlin.The men are scheduled to travel on next week – to Bonn and then to Munich, where there are Afghan consulates general. The German Foreign Office confirmed the presence of the Taliban delegation to NDR on Friday evening. The mission is related to further deportations of Afghan citizens to Afghanistan.
