AMC FearFest 2026 Unearths The Crypt Keeper as Event Host

- John Kassir returns to voice the character while AMC mainstay Greg Nicotero created a new puppet and directed the segments, marking the first new Crypt Keeper content in 30 years.
- Describing the creative process, Nicotero said, "Having the chance to re-create Kevin Yagher's amazing puppet at my studio KNB EFX and get the opportunity to 'direct him' in a series of FearFest spots was like going back in time."
- The original series offers 90s nostalgia with eerie, comeuppance-laden stories featuring Brad Pitt, Demi Moore, Kyle MacLachlan, and Patricia Arquette among its cast of superstars and renowned directors.
- FearFest kicks off Thursday, October 1, featuring Tales From the Crypt on Shudder alongside spooky season favorites including Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Final Destination, and Stephen King classics.
