The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that the "Future Healthcare Sub-Fund," a major initiative proposed by Taiwan at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting for the first time in nearly 10 years, has been formally established, and a memorandum of understanding to donate US$1.5 million was signed during the APEC Second Senior Officials Meeting in May.
