Taiwan drills to test relocating arms production under Chinese attack

- Exercises will simulate the wartime relocation of the Armaments Bureau's 202nd Arsenal in Taipei and mobilize civilian factories for "whole-system assembly," ensuring Taiwan maintains industrial output if primary military facilities are neutralized.
- To test civilian communications under constrained bandwidth, Taiwan will deliberately slow mobile internet speeds during the 10-day drill, while the Navy and Coast Guard Administration conduct joint exercises to secure shipping lanes and protect critical supplies.
- The All-Out Defense Mobilization Agency will call up 5,000 reservists during Tung-Hsin manpower mobilization drills, which occur concurrently with Han Kuang to strengthen combat effectiveness against potential threats across the Taiwan Strait.
