Taco Bell Has a New Churro-Inspired Frozen Dessert — and It’s Only $4
The $3.99 dessert pairs Churro Ice Cream with puffed rice and dark chocolate, while Taco Bell also adds a $4.69 Choco-Waffle Chiller.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Taco Bell launched the Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco nationwide at $3.99. The company calls the dessert a 'textural masterpiece,' featuring churro-flavored ice cream with puffed rice and dark chocolate coating.
Following the 2022 discontinuation of the original Klondike Choco Taco, Taco Bell and Portland-based Salt & Straw partnered last year to debut the Tacolate. This new collaboration builds on positive fan feedback from that initial release.
Taco Bell and Salt & Straw also introduced the $4.69 Choco-Waffle Chiller, a blended frozen drink available exclusively at Live Mas Cafes in California, Las Vegas, Houston, and Dallas while supplies last.
Starting September 8, Taco Bell Rewards members can enter a sweepstakes to win one of 100 limited-edition Salt & Straw x Taco Bell Igloo Playmate Coolers, each packed with three ice cream tacos.
While the Churro Ice Cream Taco is a limited-time offering, the original Cinnamon Ancho Tacolate remains available year-round at all Salt & Straw scoop shops and through the company's website for nationwide shipping.
