The Directorate of Criminalistics of the National Police opened an investigation against members of the Tacna Anti-Drug Department, finding that 40 of 105 brick parcels sent from that region to Lima, which allegedly contained cocaine, were actually full of plaster.The irregularity is linked to an operation carried out on 15 October last at the neighborhood board Leoncio Prado, where 111 kilos of cocaine hidden in a van were seized.
