[Ishigaki] In June, T-shirts featuring a horse design drawn by 100-year-old Liu Su-xi, who lives in the area affected by the 1999 Taiwan earthquake, were delivered to Kobe City, a region affected by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. One of the people who played a part in this was Tamotsu Uesedo (78), former president of the Ishigaki Rotary Club and a resident of Taketomi Town.
