Sylt: Tina Haltermann wins mayoral election with 55.6 percent

In the first round of the mayoral election on Sylt Tina Haltermann and Markus Gieppner make it into the final election. In this one, the elected politician now makes the race, which is subject to Sylter Gieppner. Haltermann has been living on the island for 20 years.

On Sylt Tina Haltermann will take over the town hall in the future. Her predecessor had left it in the fight and died shortly afterwards completely surprising.

With 55.6% of the vote, Tina Haltermann won the mayor's election on Sylt against her competitor Markus Gieppner. The non-party candidate was supported by the CDU. Last September, the former mayor Häckel was elected after a long dispute.
