Sweden guilty of denying equal healthcare to EU residents, committee says
The European Committee of Social Rights has said it believes Sweden has been guilty of multiple violations of the European Social Charter in its healthcare dealings with vulnerable EU citizens.
A complaint had been filed in 2023 by NGOs Amnesty International and Médecins du Monde. According to experts, Stockhom contravenes three of the provisions of the European Social Charter.

The institution also criticized the different treatment applied to them compared to other undocumented people, AFP reports, according to Agerpres.
