Svenska Yle: The Renovation of the Turku Stadium Is Still Underway - It Should Be Ready in a Month for the Paavo Nurmi Games

Rainy spring weather has delayed the completion of finishing work at the Sports Park.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the National Sports Office (ONS) announced that the rehabilitation of the Bingerville Stadium, which began in January 2025, is 90 per cent completed. The project has already resulted in the rehabilitation of the meadow, the outdoor grounds, six toilets (three for men and three for women), changing rooms 1 and 2, as well as the construction of a ramp for people with reduced mobility.
